Man rescued from quicksand in Zion NP

I ran across an article about a man rescued from quicksand in Zion National Park. Although he wasn't hiking in the Narrows, he was hiking a similar hike known as the Subway. Although some readers think that experience in the book was fictional, it was actually based on my own foray into quicksand in the aftermath of the flood. Here is the link.
